Automatic Accessibility Detection
Most accessibility tools require users to manually open a toolbar and configure their settings. AccessiLens goes further. It can detect signals from the user's operating system — the software running their computer or phone — to understand what accessibility needs they might have, and activate the right settings automatically, before the user even has to ask.
How automatic detection works
High contrast preference — if a user has enabled 'High Contrast' mode in their Windows or macOS settings, AccessiLens detects this and immediately applies high-contrast colours across your website.
Keyboard navigation — if a visitor starts navigating your page using the Tab key rather than a mouse, AccessiLens detects this behaviour and automatically adds visible focus highlights to every element, making navigation much easier.
Reduced motion preference — if a user has told their device they prefer less movement on screen (a common need for people with epilepsy or motion sickness), AccessiLens stops all animations on your website immediately.
No widget interaction required
For users who have already set their accessibility preferences at the operating system level, these important accommodations are applied the moment the page loads — with no need to open the toolbar or configure anything.
